ASSESSMENT:
Information limited and unreliable.

T/O & E AND STRENGTH OF: 13th Div, 23 Regt, 3rd Bn, 9th Co, 1st Plat, 2nd Sqd
There were approx 2 platoons in Company and 2 squads in a platoon.

PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:
PW and ten (10) man were inducted on 5 July 50 at KANGWON DO, PYONGCHANG GUN. No training received.
Departed KANGWAN DO on 5 Jul 50 and arrived WAEGWAN 22 Sep 50.

FOOD & UNIT HISTORY:
Food supply very short. All food obtained from villages.
Ammo supply was setting short. There were approx 5 men who carried ammo as of 23 Sep 50. Each man carried approx 200 rounds of M1891/30 ammo. PW and 5 EM picked up ammo approx 2 Km North of WAEGWAN. All ammo picked up was stored under a bridge approc 20 M in length and 4 M in width.

MORALE:
Morale was very low because of lack of food, ammo and heavy arty shelling and strafing by fighter planes.
