2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was cooperative but information was limited.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Location & Activities of Units:
The 1st Battalion, on the way to TABU DONG was partly destroyed by aircraft on 13 Sep 50. Its remnants were divided between the 2nd and 3rd battalions, which were last known to be in TABU DONG. Presently, the 13th Division Artillery consists of only the 2nd and 3rd battalions. All guns of the 1st battalion (12 x 76 mm) were destroyed.
The 19th and 21st Regiments of the 13th Division were fighting in an 8 Km wide area, approximately 1 Km South of TABU DONG in the early part of September 1950.

b. Personal & Unit History:
Inducted 25 Jun 50 in SINUIJU.
Received no training.
Departed SINUIJU on 29 Jun 50 by train and arrived in SANGJU Area by truck, date u/k.

d. Food & Ammo:
No food supplies were received.
Guns of the 13th Division Artillery were not used due to lack of ammunition.

e. Morale:
Morale is low because most of the troops were forced into the service. Many were certain they were going to lose the war and were looking forward to surrendering. It is suspected that the officers’ morale is low. However, they do not show it.
