PW did not know the meaning of sqd, plt, Co, or battalion. He was always confusing these units and number of personnel. Could not seem to understand the Korean interpreter.
3. T/O & E AND STRENGTH: 13th Div, 21st Regt, 2nd Bn, 5th Co, 1st Plt, 2nd Sqd.13th Div composed of three (3) Inf Regts, each Regt composed of three (3) Inf Bns, each Bn composed of three (3) rifle Co’s, each Company composed of three (3) rifle Plt and each Plt composed of three (3) rifle squads.
4. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 15 Mar 50 at YONGAMPO.
Received 3 months of basic training (HMG).
While traveling to a point 5 km SE of TABU DONG from YONGAMPO the following places were passed:
YONGAMPO, HAMPO, CHORWON, SANGJU, NONGAM, arriving TABU DONG, date unknown.

Morale in the 5th Co, 2nd Bn, 21st Regt, 13th Div was low because of insufficient weapons. More-over their officers usually ran away during battle.
6. GENERAL INFORMATION:PW stated that he was formerly in the HMG Co; but, since it was annihilated on 19 Sep 50, he was placed into the 5th Rifle Co.
