American Embassy Pusan, Korea
June 18, 1952
My dear Mr. President:
I have had occasion in the last few days to mention to you several examples of anit-foreign propaganda appearing in Pusan in form of posters, handbills and news items. Far from abating, this campaign seems to be continuing. I attach a recent example, a summary translation of an address given by Dr. An Ho-sang on June 16. I think you will agree that remarks of this nature emanating from persons closely affiliated with you will only serve to stir up public misunderstanding.
Sincerely yours,
s/s/ John J. Muccio
His Excellency
President Syngman Rhee
