Composition of Units:15th Division
Capability of Unit:
Efficiency: Low, due to lack of training and ammunition.
Morale: Low, due to lack of food, ammunition and rest. The Unit did not know the objective of war, and the superior officers threatened the men if they retreated,
Fatigue: Excessive, due to long marches at night. and very little rest during the day.
Mission of Unit :PW heard from the Company Commander that the units main objective was to capture TAEGU. Company Commander also stated that TAEGU would be captured by the 22nd of August 50.
Present Location of his unit was 2 kilometers NW of TABU DONG. The Regimental Haaduarters was located at YUHAK-SAN.
Training:PW was trained from 15 April 50 to 16 June 50 at RAJIN: Combat training consisted of firing, nomenclature of rifle, bayonet training and camouflage. On 2 June 50 the unit fired one round of live ammunition, again on 21 June 50, fired three rounds.
