When stragglers of 3rd Div assembled at PYONGYANG there were none of the above-mentioned officers in the group. The highest ranking officer was a captain,
3. FOREIGN ELEMENTS:A Russian officer was assigned to each Regt (7th, 8th, 9th) as advisor. One Russian officer assigned to 3rd Div HQ as advisor was a colonel.
Regt’s advisors were Lt Cols. As far as PW knows these Russian advisors left the 3rd Div 2 mos prior to 25 Jun 50.
