4. DISPOSITION OF ABOVE UNIT:The 3rd Battalion on 10 Sep 50, was in YONGCHON.
The 45th Regiment withdrew 20 km north of YONGCHCN on 10 Sep 50.
The 15th Division Headquarters on 10 Sep 50, was located 20 km north of YONGCHON.
The artillery unit supporting the 45th Regt was completely wiped out and its weapons, consisting of two (2) m-1938 x 122 mm Howitzers, seven (7) M-1939 x 76 mm guns, and several 45 mm AT guns were captured by ROK Forces.

7. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 14 Aug 50, with 30 others at MUNCHON and departed the same day for CHUNCHON by truck, arrived 20 Aug 50. At CHUNCHON the inductees were told that they were replacement troops for the 45th Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 1st Company. From CHUNCHON the 30 replacements marched by night, passing YOJU, ANDONG, UMSONG and arrived at YONGCHON 7 Sep 50,
The replacements received weapons after departing ANDONG. (No training,)
At the time of capture he was armed with a rifle and no ammo.
8. AMMO:The two (2) self-propelled guns supporting the 45th Regiment were captured by ROK Forces in YONCHON.
9. FOOD AND AMMO SUPPLIES:The informant observed an ammo dump located 8 km south of ANDONG (road extending to YONGCHON). The ammo was placed in the drainage ditch on both sides of the highway, camouflaged with vegetation. There were about two (2) truck loads of artillery and mortar shells. It is believed that the ammo from this dump was for the 15th Division.
10. REPLACEMENTS:The informant was one of the 30 replacements received by the 3rd Battalion on 7 Sep 50,
The wounded troops were all evacuated to ANDONG to the 15th Div's field hospital.
11. MORALE:The morale of the troops is very low.
