2. ASSESSMENT:
Very intelligent, very cooperative. Further interrogation is not recommended. PW stated that only the AT Co departed CH'ONGJIN. PW was attending fishery college until date inducted in NKPA at CH’ONGJIN 15 Jul 50.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Inducted 15 Jul 50 at CH’ONGJIN. PW received basic training (45mm Anti-tank gun) 16 Jul to 15 Aug 50. Departed (Ind AT Co - 50 men, 6 x AT gun - 300 rounds) CH’ONGJIN 15 Aug 50 by train - arrived CH’ORWON (鐵原) 17 Aug 50. Departed CH’ORWON - 17 Aug 50 by truck - arrived CH'UNCH'ON (春川) 19 Aug 50. 50 men departed CH'UNCH'ON 20 Aug 50 - marched (1 gun pulled by horses) - arrived KUMCH’ON (金泉) 25 Aug 50. Passed through SONSAN (善山), KUNWI (軍成) 2 km E of YONGCHON - arrived 0200 6 Sep 50. 2 Sep 50 the strength of Ind AT Co was 35 men, 5 AT guns. Four (4) were serviceable, one (1) unserviceable. 200 rounds ammunition were left. Separated from unit after heavy air bombardment and artillery shelling, captured by ROK Army. PW was only survivor of Ind AT Co.

50 men in Co. Ind AT Co divided to 6 Sqds each. Sqd had l x 45mm M1942 AT gun, 50 rounds. 8 men.


Supplies: No food delivered after 20 Aug 50. Received rice from farmers. Ammunition last received at CH’ONGJIN 15 Aug 50.

Leaflets: PW never saw leaflets. Aircraft bombardment and strafing and 105mm artillery fire feared the most.
