PW did not carry any weapon throughout his army service.
PW’s info was very limited. He was confused in dates and name places.

4. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:
Conscripted into the 3rd Sqd, 1st Plat, 2nd Co, 1st Bn, 29th Inf Regt, 10 Div, II Corps on 17 Dec 50 at KUMHWA (CT8535).

13 Jan 51 PW deserted his unit and was trying to find a police station to surrender himself, but 16 Jan 51 PW was captured by the ROK 32nd Regt.

5. LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS as 13 Jan 51.
PW heard from his Plat ldr on 6 Jan 51 at TANYANG that the 10th Div’s mission was to attack PUSAN (MP0183). No details available.
On 13 Jan 51 at CHOKSONG NI PW heard from his Plat ldr that the 10th Div was to proceed to TANYANG area.
Reason and dates, unk.
O/a 22 Dec 50 at KUMHWA PW saw 1,000 x CCF troops (CCF unit designation unk).
These soldiers carried 4 grenades each. PW also saw 20 horses.
Destination of CCF unit was unk.

6. PERSONALITIES:
CHANG, Pok Man (張福萬), Jr Lt, Plat Ldr, 1st Plat.

7. FOOD & AMMO:
Food was taken from whatever village his unit entered.
Ammo - negative.
PW did not carry any weapon while he was in the army.

8. MORALE:
The morale in his unit was low because 80% were recruits who had never fired a weapon.
