PW was not very intelligent and was very vague on all matters. Reliability - poor.
Chronology
1 Oct 50 - PW was inducted into NKA 7th Division at HWANGJU (黃州).
10 Oct 50 - 7th Division scattered at SARIWON while under UN attack. PW made his way North via KOKSAN (谷山) to KANGLONG (江東).
27 Nov 50 - 7th Division entered KANGLONG and PW was incorporated into the Arty Regt of the 7th Division. 7th Division made its way South to YONGCHON taking about ten days. Unit rested for two weeks at YONCHON (漣川). Unit traveled Est beyond HWACHON, heading for YANGGU, where PW was captured.

Strength ( As of 27 Dec 50):
7th Division - 3,000 men.
o/a 29 Nov 50 approx 800 men of the 7th Division Arty Regt were distributed to the Rifle Regts due to the lack of Arty pieces. 40 men were sent to 7th Div Headquarters. The actual distribution was not done until the units regrouped at YONGHON.

PW neither saw nor heard of UN leaflets or broadcasts.
