PW was of poor intelligence, always contradicting his statements. Information unreliable.
3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:Chronology:
15 Jan 48: Volunteered at NANAM and received training with the 2nd Div at NANAM.
3 Sep 48: Arrived CHINAMPO. Assigned to the 4th Div, received advance training in transportation.
12 Dec 49: Was confined to the 4th Div hospital at CHINAMPO for TB.
26 Sep 50: Due to the man power shortage he was released from hospital and assigned to the 25th Brig as Transportation Officer.
30 Sep 50: Retreated N from SEOUL
14 Oct 50: Was captured at KOKUSON.
Unit Organization & Strength:
25th Brig (2,500 men)
The 25th Brigade was made up of 5 Inf Bns and one Transporta- tion Co directly attached to Brigade.
Equipment:
11 trucks, anti-tank guns, submachine guns & rifles, 80% of men were armed
Unit History:
15 Jul 50: The 25th Brig was believed to have been organized at CHORWON.
26 Sep 50: 25th Brig arrived at SEOUL where PW joined unit.
12 Oct 50; Retreated to SONG HYON-NI and later retreated further north. This unit was very short of the TO&E of 6,000 men.
