27th Regt composed of three (3) Inf Bns, Arty Co, Recon Plat, Engr Plat, Med Plat, Signal Co, Supply Co & SMG Plat.
3rd Bn composed of three (3) Inf Cos, AT Gun Plat, Signal Plat, Supply Plat, Med Plat, 45mm Gun Plat, 82mm Mortar Co, HMG Co.

3rd Bn CP, 27th Regt was located in vicinity E of SONGJU on 25 Sep 50.
27th Regt CP was located in vicinity of SONNAM MYON until early part of Sep 50. Heard that the CP has been moved due to heavy air attacks.
1st & 3rd Companies, 3rd Bn, 27th Regt were located in vicinity of SONNAM MYON at time of his capture on 25 Sep 50.
PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:Inducted 16 April 50 at SUKCHON.
Received approx 2 months Inf Basic Training with AT Gun Plat, 3rd Plat, 3rd Bn at SUKCHON.
Departed SUKCHON on 23 June 50 and arrived SONGJU 16 Aug.
3rd Bn reached the west side of NAKTONG River on 4 Sep 50. They established a defense position along NAKTONG River until 12 Sep 50. They retreated from this area and arrived in vicinity of SONNAM MYON.

FOOD & AMMO SUPPLIES:Food was obtained from deserted villages they passed.
Ammo supply was insufficient. There will be no ammo left after using what they have on hand.
Prior to his capture on 25 Sep 50, AT Gun Plat, 3rd Bn had approx 58 rds of ammo per gun (2 guns}.
US PW’S:Observed approx 70 US PW's while marching (location & date unknown).
GENERAL INFORMATION:A large ammo dump was located in vicinity of KUMHWA. 10th Div hauled its ammunition from there.
