Suffering from a fragment wound in the right abdomen. Uncooperative and illiterate. PW was in the CNA for 8 years and held the rank of Sqd Ldr. Not recommended for further interrogation.
a. Chronology:
O/a 24 Dec 50 PW replacement unit (approx regt strength) crossed the Manchurian Border into KOREA. PW and approx 100 replacements were assigned to 337th Regt o/a 2 Jan 51. 3d Co moved into position CS708503 o/a 5 Mar 51. Due to intense arty barrages 3d Co withdrew evening of 5 Mar 51. 060900 Mar 51 wounded and captured by US troops and taken to a Korean house vic CS692503. PW was left in house until 100900 Mar 51 when brought to the rear.

Food is locally procured. Ammo on hand was issued approx 1 month ago.

Due to 3d MG Co being located near 7th Co, PW was able to estimate strength of 7th Co.
h. UN Leaflet:
Saw UN plane dropping leaflets but due to being illiterate, PW was uninterested and paid no attention. Leaflets were not discussed among troops.
i. Morale:
Morale of 3d MG Co is very low due to lack of food and clothing. Approx 20 former CNA soldiers in 3d MG Co would like to surrender but difficult due to constant watch by superiors.
