2. T/O & E OF PW’s UNIT:
No information.

3. LOCATION OF PW' a UNIT:
2nd Bn, 15th Regt was located in the SOBUKSAN area.
Others unknown.

4. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:
Entered “GIYUGUN” 3 Jul 50 at SEOUL. Subjects unit was called 1st Brig, 4th Bn Code Name "CHlRISAN" (智異山). Strength of the 4th Bn was about 800 men. The 1st Brig was composed of four Bns. Two more of the Bn code names were PEKFO SAN (白頭山) and OHDESAN (五台山), but subject doesn't know which name fit which company. Subject's company was called NAM CHIN KANG (南進江). The 1st Brig departed SEOUL by foot on 10 Jul 50 and began the march south. That was the last time subject saw the 1st, 2d and 3d Bn’s because they all took different routes. The 4th Bn passed thru the following cities en route, SUWON, PYONGTAEK, YESAN, CHONGYANG, IRI, KUMJE, SAGA-RI, KWANG-JU, SUNCHON, KWANGYANG, HADONG and arrived at SACHON on about 25 Aug 50. Subject left SACHON on about 28 Aug and en route to place of capture became part of the 6th Div, 15th Regt. Subject arrived at place of capture in the evening on 1 Sep 50, From time of arrival to time of capture, 2 days, subject worked as messenger between 4th Co Hq and 2d Bn Hq. During this time there were about 100 men killed or wounded by aircraft and artillery. Because subject had not eaten for 3 days, he walked in US lines and surrendered.

5. SOUTH KOREAN SENTIMENT:
The SK civilians are afraid of the NK army.

6. INTERROGATORS REMARKS:
Even though subject was a messenger between company and Bn Hq, he has no special information because of the short time in the unit. PW sincere and willing to talk. Information reliable.
