b. Unit Disposition:
PW company left the 50th Army area 9 Mar 51. Company crossed the PUKHAN River in small boats and arrived on Hill 340 CS541598 early in the morning of 10 Mar 51. When the UN Forces attacked, the company scattered toward the north.
c. Unit Mission:
9 Mar 51, the company commander issued orders to defend Hill 340 at all cost.
d. Adjacent Unit:
PW saw a number of soldiers from another unit in the vicinity.
e. Weapons:
One LMG in company. 1000 rd of ammo.
f. Food:
Insufficient. Heard that food was coming from CHINA. Ration consist mainly of dried noodles.
g. Morale:
Low
h. Propaganda:
PW has seen leaflets and has heard the broadcasts.
