a. Chronology:
17 Sep 50 - Conscripted at YONGJU (near TAEGU) and was attached to a Replacement Unit. Received 14 days training.
30 Sep 50 - The Replacement unit (about 100 men) departed YONGJU.
15 Nov 50 - The unit arrived at CHAGAN DO and its personnel assigned to various units of the 14th Div. The Sig Bn of the 7th Regt was newly organized here at this time.
18 Nov 50 - The entire Sig Bn departed CHAGAN DO on foot. Whereabouts of the 14th Div Hq and its unit were unknown.
10 Jan 51 - The Bn arrived at ANHUNG MYON (20km N of PYONGCHANG).
11 Jan 51 - The Bn departed ANHUNG MYON. PW remained here due to illness. According to hearsay the Bn was headed for PYONGCHANG (DS 4535).
5 Feb 51 - PW was captured in a civilian home at ANHUNG MYON by 5th ROK Div.
