Position: CO, 1st Regt

Morale:
Morale of the troops was very low because of the disintegration of the NKPA from a well organized fighting force to its present condition. The men knew that the wounded were left where they fell in the hasty retreat of the division from the NAKTONG. The will to fight was completely gone and PW noticed that the majority of the men had discarded their weapons and were travelling unarmed.
